Please confirm with your insurance/benefit company as we are not responsible for unexpected out-of-network fees. We are happy to provide CPT codes so that you can confirm payment as we certainly do not want you to encounter any surprises.

Self-Pay Rates

Self-pay is available and will remain an option for patients who prefer privacy, flexibility, or simpler billing. Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, major credit/debit cards and HSA/FSA cards.

General Psychiatric Visits

• Initial Psychiatric Evaluation (60 minutes): $350

  • including testing (60–90 min): $400

• Follow-Up Medication Management: $150

• Extended Follow-Up: $200

 

Note: Neuropsychiatric testing is included for clinical assessment purposes only. It is not full neuropsychological testing, and referral may be made if more comprehensive evaluation is required for academic, legal, or disability purposes

 

Out-of-Network & Superbills

While credentialing is in progress, we are considered out-of-network.

• Patients may request a superbill to submit to their insurance company for possible out-of-network reimbursement.

• Recommended questions for your insurance provider:

  • Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

  • What is my deductible?

  • What percentage of the visit is reimbursed?

  • Is prior authorization required?

Reimbursement is determined by your insurance plan and is not guaranteed.

Cancellation & No-Show Policy

Appointments are reserved specifically for you. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations:

• New Patient Appointments: $50 fee for late cancellation or no-show

• Follow-Up Appointments: $50 fee for late cancellation or no-show

Good Faith Estimate

Patients who do not use insurance are entitled to receive a Good Faith Estimate of expected charges for services. Upon request, Carolina Cognitive and Behavioral Health will provide a written estimate prior to your appointment.
